Remember
What appears on the surface to be two elderly friends in assisted living develops into a kindred pact between men determined to track down the man who killed both their families. Even though the recently widowed Zev, played by Christopher Plummer, suffers from encroaching dementia, Max (Martin Landau), though immobile, has a list with possible locations of four people having the name of their target, Rudy Kurlander, who may be living under an assumed identity in Canada or the US. This geriatric thriller breathes down your neck as the names are crossed out, one by one, until what’s actually at stake is revealed! This is the film director Atom Egoyan should have made after Felicia’s Journey back in 1999!
