Shudder’s Creepshow Series Haunts Atlanta
A TV adaptation of the 1982 comicbook/horror anthology movie Creepshow has been filming in the Atlanta area. The six episodes (which will each contain multiple stories) are for AMC’s horror/supernatural-centered video-on-demand streaming service Shudder, and will feature stories penned by original movie writer Stephen King, King’s son Joe Hill, Bird Box scripter Josh Malerman, Monster House’s Rob Schrab and The Bottoms’ Joe Lansdale. Executive producer Greg Nicotero (The Walking Dead) is directing several episodes; John Harrison (assistant director and music composer on the original film), Roxanne Benjamin, David Bruckner (V/H/S) and Rob Schrab (assorted episodes of Community) will also be directing. Jordan Patrick (The Resident), Logan Allen (Nickelodeon’s Talia in the Kitchen), Madison Bailey (Black Lightning), Melissa Saint-Amand (Ozark) and Will Kindrachuk (Boy Erased) are among those starring in various segments.
