Timmy Failure Films in Georgia for Disney+
After completing primary production in Portland last summer, the movie Timmy Failure has been in Georgia in recent days shooting scenes in Buckhead, Ball Ground and other metro Atlanta locales. Adapted from the children’s book series by Stephan Pastis (creator of the Pearls Before Swine comic strip), the story is about an 11-year-old boy who runs his own detective agency assisted by an imaginary 1,200-pound polar bear. Winslow Fegley (the Disney Channel’s Fast Layne, pictured) plays Timmy, with Ophelia Lovibond (Guardians of the Galaxy) as his mother, Patty. Craig Robinson (Hot Tub Time Machine), Chloe Coleman (HBO’s Big Little Lies), Nicole Anthony and Ruby Matenko are also starring in the family-friendly flick, set to air on the Disney+ streaming service. Tom McCarthy (Spotlight) is directing.
