Don’t Breathe

Roles are reversed in this home invasion thriller when a trio of millennials think a disabled vet makes for an easy target. Rocky and Money bring friend Alex along because his dad runs the security firm with all the codes in this dilapidated Detroit neighborhood. From the claustrophobic crawlspace to the darkened closets, Stephen Lang gives a commanding turn as the blind occupant unwilling to be victimized further after losing his only daughter to a hit ‘n’ run. At one point the blind turpitude of the thieves gives way to his black & white world as he points out: “Once you take God out of the equation, ‘You can’t do that’ has no further meaning!”
