Now You See Me 2

Originally assembled by a benefactor to expose corporate corruption, a team of magicians pulls off heists in this sequel to a movie I did not see; and if Lizzie Caplan wasn’t in that film, why bother, since she’s the best thing going in this one! Jesse Eisenberg, Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman as the debunker all return but with Daniel Radcliffe as a tech-magnate who blackmails the team into stealing a key to run all computers. Now, outside of Houdini, I’ve never much cared about illusions but there is a sequence here where the group is being patted down for a missing computer chip that is masterfully edited. Plus Woody Harrelson gets the opportunity to play two roles!
