Two SyFy Pilots to Shoot in Atlanta

Two SyFy pilots are looking to begin production in Atlanta this month. Cipher will star Adrian Grenier (Entourage, pictured), Gabriel Bateman (American Gothic), Kyla-Drew Simmons (Nickelodeon’s Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn), Elias Koteas (Chicago P.D.) and Sydney Morton (Netflix’s She’s Gotta Have It) in a drama about a 13-year-old boy whose brain is implanted with crazy computer technology. Peter Hoar (The Umbrella Academy’s pilot) will direct. Then there’s (Future) Cult Classic, a dark comedy from Lorne Michaels’ Broadway Video. Set 18 years in the future, it stars Emily Alyn Lind (Code Black), Jacob McCarthy (NBC’s A.P. Bio), Cayden Boyd (Have Dreams, Will Travel), Zoe Renee (The Quad), Justin Bartha (The Hangover), Geoffrey Owens (The Haves and the Have Nots) and da’Vinchi (Grown-ish, Jessica Jones) as a group of teens targeted by a serial killer obsessed with ’90s slasher movies.
