The Darkness

A bulimic, an alcoholic, an unfaithful husband and their autistic son walk into the Grand Canyon…if you’ve already heard this one, it ain’t no joke! David Mazouz (Bruce Wayne on Gotham) is Michael, who accidentally discovers an ancient Anasazi ritual site and removes four marked talismans that cause “Jenny,” a demonic force, to follow the family home. As tar-blackened handprints appear on walls and sheets, nerves splinter when it’s determined that Mikey is a conduit to bringing four entities across the dimensions that will herald the end of all mankind. It may indeed be a “poltergeist” movie like many others but Mazouz has the stoic resolve to pull it off.  Kevin Bacon and Radha Mitchell portray his rather baffled parents.
